Are you interested in becoming a police officer with the Halton Regional Police Service? Join us at a Recruitment Information Session or a Recruitment Fair to learn more. If you are interested in attending one of our upcoming sessions, please contact us via email at policerecruiting@haltonpolice.ca and let us know which meeting you wish to attend and the best telephone number to reach you.  We will respond with instructions on how to participate. We welcome all interested applicants and look forward to meeting and speaking with you! 

  • Recruitment Information Session presentations include details about the police constable selection process, followed by a question and answer period. Attendees will also have an opportunity to speak directly with HRPS recruiters after the presentations to get specific, personal questions answered in an informal setting.

  • Policing has evolved considerably over the last few decades, and so too has the community we serve.

    If you have a serious interest in learning more about policing in Halton, how to be more competitive in the application process, and are ready to test your physical abilities, we hope to see you there.

  • These information sessions are open to grade 12 high school students in Halton Region who are interested in policing. One parent or guardian is welcome to attend as space is limited. Please register via email at policerecruiting@haltonpolice.ca with preferred date, your high school name, grade and the name(s) of those attending. A telephone number is required for registration purposes.
